CLAF®

CLAF® fabric consists of two layers of co-extruded and fibrillated polyolefin films that are oriented in both machine and cross directions then thermally bonded together into non-woven mesh product.

Characteristics

  • Thin-walled, light-weight, and breathable
  • High strength with a good balance in both warp and weft directions
  • Machine and Cross Direction fibers are tightly bonded and dimensionally stable
  • Excellent processability when combined with various other materials
  • Excellent water and chemical resistance

Function and Use

CLAF® can be combined with a diversity of materials and therefore provides a wide variety of product development options.

Processing of CLAF®

CLAF®, a polyolefin resin product, can be combined with other materials by means of extrusion, thermal and adhesive lamination. CLAF® can also be made into bags due to its ability to be sewn or heat sealed.

Use of CLAF®

CLAF® has been used in various fields such as of industrial materials, household goods, wrapping materials, agricultural materials, etc.
